Arlo Approved Pet Collars keep pets safe because they carry information to help reunite them with their family. The collars have a leather tag sewn onto them, so your pet’s info can be laser engraved on it, which helps to reduce the jingles of tags on the collar.
Our collars are made of cotton duck cloth that we wax in our studio/garage. The solid-colored canvas is 9oz and the patterned colored is lighter weight. We use a blend of food grade paraffin and bee’s wax. Waxed canvas is water and dirt resistant.
As your pet wears their new collar, it will become softer and more pliable as it molds to your pet’s neck. We tested our collar on Gideon, our poodle, to see how it would hold up to heat and use. We live in the high desert in AZ and our poodle loves setting in the sun and roaming the yard, and we can say that it is still looking great.
Once you click purchase, a form will pop-up where you can add the information you would like engraved on the leather tag on the collar. On the form there are two boxes the first box will be the first line such as for a pet’s name and the second box can be for a phone number. Limit each box to 10 characters.
Available sizes.
Large: 1 inch width and fits neck sizes from 15- 21 inches.
Medium: 3/4-inch width and fits neck sizes from 13- 19.5 inches
Small: 3/4-inch width and fits neck sizes from 11-15 inches.
X Small: 5/8-inch width and fits neck sizes from 10-13 inches.
