Hang the sun catcher in a window or close to a light source so that the flecks embedded in the acrylic can catch and reflect the light, allowing them to shine brilliantly. However, they are just as beautiful without a light source behind them.
The exterior is wood that is laser cut in various designs then overlayed on an acrylic piece with flecks that catch the light. On top there is a hang hole as well a s a small wire loop to help adjust your sun catcher to catch the maximum light.
